The barren dreamy mise-en-scene act as both this films greatest strength and weakness. It elevates the performances with Denzel Washington playing a great Macbeth making it very faithful to it’s stage origins however also leaves it feeling slightly flat and hollow. The architecture is soooo cool bumps it up
