As a medical student who kinda hated what hes doing this movie really hits different , it made me think that medicine isnt just about diagnosis and treatments its about people , taking care of people problems is gonna let u forget about yours , watching patch adams care so deeply and emotionally, laugh and play with patients made me rethink what kind of doctor i wanna be when i grow up and just knowing that its a true story (enrolling in gesundheit institute became one of my goals in my medical career) made it even more inspiring and powerful , its not just a feel good movie its a reminder that kindness, humor and connection do actually belong to medicine, a solid 10/10 movie. ( i still hate what im doing :@) )
