The Revenant

Fuck ya I love movies with very little dialogue and lots of symbolism. I guess I should start with the cinematography, which was absolutely baffling. from the mesmerizing look it gave nature, to the mystical dream/memory sequences, this film was truly beautiful.  The characters are fantastic. Each of the main cast either makes you empathize with or hate them and they all have very clear motivations. Last things I want to mention are, the subtle editing which often held on shots for long periods of time helping immerse you in the characters mind frame and, the elaborate mise-en-scène during the multiple one-shot scenes.   P.S that bear attack was fucking brutal.
