The Shining

First review of the shining despite my many viewings of the film. Stanley Kubrick's one and only horror film and it’s  fucked from Jack Nicholson's performance as a deranged abusive father to the stellar direction it’s no wonder this film is considered one of the greatest horrors  Some of my favourite things about this film are the tracking shots which have a sinister effect, the amazing faces of jack and the colour palette especially the shots in the blizzard.
