The overall message or theme of The Odyssey being Zeus Law and how whether or not you follow that natural law is very powerful. Especially, how in The Odyssey that citizens that follow will be met with misfortune and the others that abuse it or simply ignore it seem to reap the benefits. However, Nolan shows us that ultimately the people that break or misuse that natural will reap what they sow. It is an added benefit that the time this film comes out it can give viewers maybe some hope or reassurance that the corruption, genocides, and misdeeds around the world can be corrected.
