What an awesome movie! I’ve been putting off watching this for a while, but I’m glad I’ve finally got around to watching it. The story is this is great and very engaging. All the characters are great in this, especially the main three of Captain Jack Sparrow, Will, and Elizabeth. They all put on great performances, but obviously the stand out is Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow. I already knew I was going to like his performance, but I liked it even more than I thought I would. The whole Black Pearl thing is awesome and really fun to watch how it unfolds. The special effects that are used during these scenes are great too. Cinematography is extremely good. I wish this movie had a better 4K transfer, but it still looks great in 1080p. There’s some really cool ocean shots and extremely well done action scenes, some of my favorite ever. The colors in this are also really good and I love the set pieces in this movie, gorgeous stuff. The music in this is very good. The main theme is so iconic, and the rest of the songs are very good as well. Very easy recommend to anyone who likes an engaging story and great cinematography

Yeah this was very very good. Lived up to the expectations pretty well. There really is stuff in here I can’t believe they pulled off, it’s awesome to see how a couple people will still go to extreme lengths to make a great movie. This movie goes both ways in how you enjoy it. I feel like if you haven’t seen the show and watch the movie first, it’s better because while this movie is good, the show is still a lot better in my opinion. For me it waters down the experience more because it doesn’t reach the highs in the show, but like I said still a great movie. That being said though, it’s also good to watch the web series and Viceland show before this as well because it has some callbacks and references that fans would get. Even though I’ve been a fan of this show for a short time, it’s very cool to see these characters reunite after the show ended. It’s also somewhat emotional seeing what friends will do for each other. The cinematography in this is pretty great. Matt does some cool shots in this and the whole 2008 thing is great. Overall incredible movie and doesn’t involve TOO much sneaking around, because that gets you no where. This whole situation in this movie could have been avoided though if Matt got his magic burgers.
