Pan's Labyrinth

I predicted how to film was going to go however the ending completely shocked me and wasn’t expecting that to happen. Obviously i knew she was eventually going to end up in the “Underground Realm” but just not in that way. I liked all the chatacters in this film, even Vidal although hes such an evil person. This film definitely doesn’t suit the normal “hollywood structure” as all movies normally end happily. However, Ofelia and Carmen both die in tragic ways which is an unnatural way to happen in general film. Del Toro does a good job at denying expectations of where the films going to go. After seeing Pans Labyrinth, I would definitely watch more films from him as I really enjoyed it when I wasn’t expecting to. I subconsciously tuned out that the entire films in Spanish and completely enjoyed it. I would definitely watch again and recommend it to anyone.
