tension’s great, the atmosphere’s killer… but let’s bfr, that script everyone keeps raving about? Kinda underwhelming. it thinks it’s reinventing horror when it’s really just remixing it in a cool way. still, even when it stumbles, it’s the kind of movie you feel in your gut: creepy, ambitious, and just the right amount of unhinged.
