Monster

i’m completely wrecked after watching this movie. i loved the choice to tell the story from three different points of view. it’s a painful film, but it feels incredibly real and human. seeing how something so innocent and genuine was constantly being suppressed is heartbreaking. the moment i understood what was actually happening, i felt lost, because only people who grew up feeling different in that way can really connect to that pain. it’s a beautiful film, with great performances, and a story that truly gets under your skin and doesn’t let go
