I’m not immune to how charming and annoying this film is. Mostly cause of how natural everything feels, the dialogue is so warm and normal, it feels so very alive somehow, that’s why I really liked this cause I find this movie to be very original, kinda unique I haven’t seen many films that gave me so much original scenes in the middle of what it appears to be a serious movie with so many silly scenes and also interesting ones. Couldn’t help myself but to not like both characters but also see myself in both of them somehow. I think they’re the same person with different genders in its totality. Not none of this excludes the fact that woody Allen is not somebody I like very much as a person, but I really like him sometimes as a director. And Diane Keaton is just so incredibly a vibe in this film, with the fashion choices and character choices too.

This movie gave me so much sense of doom til I remembered I never have to go trough this. Also “please, comfort me” is such a beautiful heartbreaking scene, it made me cry cause of how precious and intimate it was.

In a present full of cash grab sequels I think this one does the job well, yes it’s not as good as the first one, yes it is still a cash grab. But it has something to say and that’s important, the fact that the whole cast came back for this is important. The subjects they pressed on like ai and the loss of journalism is really important and good that they showed it. And honestly the whole nostalgic thing did work on me and I’m so grateful I enjoyed everything about this. And Nigel I love you so so much

I think watching this movie almost every year is kinda like a tradition now, cause I just love it so much, I wish every movie to make me feel like this one does each and every time, so alive and yet also so melancholic about everything, I will never forget what I felt when I heard “*I wish everyone were as sick as you” *And even though it might have not been that experience for many people it was for mine. I hope I rewatch every year this movie
