Into the Wild
I just watched it in random night and now, beyond words could ever describe how life-changing this masterpiece is.
And to know that it is based on true story of McCandless inspires me and always will.
Some people might see what he did as running away from society but I see it as a brave person who chose to find their happiness in freedom and discover more of life in nature. A person who chose to find a life that truly matters.
I'm McCandless, McCandless is me.
His story proves that even if he had a short life, he lived. He just lived. He made the most out of every moment. Ultimate freedom in pathless road he walked through.
He lived like an old man who experienced life in every way. But the truth is, he's not know-it-all. I think the only thing that didn't filled his cup of happiness while living, was knowing the importance of human relationships.
At his very last breath, he & we soon realised that
" Happiness only real when shared. "
I love every quotes in this movie with my all heart. But what really carved in me,
There is a pleasure in the pathless woods;
There is a rapture on the lonely shore;
There is society, where none intrudes,
By the deep sea, and music in its roar:
I love not man the less, but Nature more...

was shown at the beginning of the movie and the moment I read it, I knew.
Best quotes a movie can ever have:
- “The core of man’s spirit comes from new experiences. And there you are stubborn old man, sitting on your butt."
- “So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned by a life of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality, nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future. The very basic core of a man’s living spirit is his passion for adventure.”
- *"My days were more exciting when I was penniless. I’ve decided I’m going to live this life for some time to come. The freedom and simple beauty is too good to pass up."
*
- *“Don’t settle down and sit in one place. Move around, be nomadic, and make each day a new horizon.”
*
- *“Don´t hesitate or allow yourself to make excuses. Just get out and do it. Just get out and do it. You will be very, very glad that you did.”
*
- "And I also know how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong but to feel strong. To measure yourself at least once. To find yourself at least once in the most ancient of human conditions. Facing the blind death stone alone, with nothing to help you but your hands and your own head."
- "Mr. Franz, I think careers are a twentieth-century invention, and I don’t want one."
- *"You’re just living, man. You’re just there, in that moment, in that special place and time."
*
- *"If we admit that human life can be ruled by reason, then all possibility of life is destroyed."
*
- "No longer to be poisoned by civilization he flees, and walks alone upon the land to become lost in the wild."*

NO FILM HAS EVER TOUCHED MY SOUL AS THIS MOVIE DID.
