treat letterboxd like my personal diary, most of time it's messy and biased :p

tell me, tell me, tell me how do i start? first of all my favorite band of all time is fleetwood mac, and based on jenkin's interview, i read it somewhere that she said she was inspired to write about a rock band after watching the silver spring performance of stevie and lindsey live on stage, and she felt this intense connection of the two, confident that they were still together. and i think she delivered the complexity of a soulful connection perfectly well. by making these characters : daisy jones and billy dunne. they are both something and i do believe they're tied as soulmates. but somehow, with camila in the same timeline, it does break my heart how a woman can have such a big heart and such a wonderful understanding for this man. camila is the woman she thinks she is, she is the definition of a strong and powerful person. the glue of the whole band from the very beginning, and i believe she did tolerate and resist so much, making her the one carrying the emotional baggage at the very end. i was so sad during track 10, i'm genuinely devastated, confused on what would i did if iwere billy, of course i would be more grateful having a wife like camila, but at the same time i understand daisy as much as i tried to be in track. but indeed, writing songs, creating art is much more than a friendship. it is a soul bound by default, especially when you met your mirror. honestly idk how to feel about this, but i do love the series, their aesthetics, their dynamic, i would say everything. oh to be the most selling rock band in 1970s. what a life.

thank god my paranoia could never let me pass that yellow room GELISAHHHH BGT AH
