Lady Macbeth

A moving film about, gender, power and loneliness. It is interesting how almost everyone does something wrong yet the director creates a feeling of sorrow and sympathy for each person, specifically Kathrine. The gloomy and dull mies en scene empowers the dark theme to this film making the spectator understand Katherine's mindset.
