“It’s time to remember who you are.” The best thing I’ve ever seen. Oh, the movie too. I’ve never been this stun locked by a piece of cinema. The brutality. The spirituality. This marriage of sound and stark, moving visual. And not just emotionally moving, the camera was always in movement. The viewer, the story, the effect was never still. It craves blood and impact. You can’t look but yet can’t look away. If this is Dev Patel’s first directorial debut, I can’t wait to see what he does next. A reminder that you are never alone and sometimes giving a voice doesn’t even have to be through words. Fists will do lol. Dev, my love, I’ll follow you anywhere.
