Fantastic Planet
This movie is a truly bizarre and nearly haunting creative expression that is truly one of a kind, the art first of all is gorgeous and imaginative in every single corner of the movie there isn’t a single frame where something gorgeous or just strange isn’t happening. The movie does something honestly quite rare in most sci-fi films and that’s create a environment that truly feels completely alien, the film just breathes creativity at every corner and is engaging every second of its relatively short time span, this movie is a pinnacle of art, animation, creativity and in my opinion sci-fi not quite genre defining due to its absurd unique qualities but a film that represents one of the peaks you can truly conjure through this genre. I also quite liked the scary bird strangling creature.
