Groundhog Day

There was a string of about 12 years where I would watch this film every Groundhog Day. It's a great movie. I love the humor, it has so many repeatable lines. It is sweet and romantic in a goofy way. I love Punxsutawney Phil. But at some point, just like Phil Conners, I broke the cycle. It had been several years and it was time to revisit that borough in Pennsylvania and reunite with old (movie ) friends. It's still a great film and one my all time favorites. Here was the proclamation for this, the 2nd Day of February in the year of 2026. The Seer of Seers, the Sage of Sages, the Prognosticator of Prognosticators, and the Weather Prophet Extraordinary, Punxsutawney Phil has, on this festive day, seen a shadow, six more weeks of winter are on the way!" Happy Groundhog Day!
