Smiling Friends

Some free episodes of Smiling Friends can be watched here: Smiling Friends Having never watched or heard of this series before, I did not realize that was not one single short, but an actual Adult Swim show with one full season and another in production. Smiling Friends was created from the manic imaginations of Zach Hadel and Michael Cusack. The characters are bizarre. The stories are edgy and often times inappropriate. The jokes are mostly juvenile and immature. And the references are vague and obscure. Put it all together, and you have pure awesomeness. There are very few shows like this that match the energy and flat-out inventiveness. When I found out it was a series, I thought I would watch one or two. I watched five--and will fill in the missing holes soon. This is the good stuff.
