Scream 7

I just came back from watching the movie in the theater. This is my first scream movie I saw on a big screen so that was amazing! However the movie had its flaws. I give it a 4 stars. Firstly it's a scream movie and they just have a special place in my heart. I did think it had a good opening scene and I really enjoyed the motion activated ghostface. This movie definitely had some of the most gruesome deaths like Hannah's, Lucas and Jessicas which I enjoy because it made the movie scarier. However I didnt really get why Jessica and that doctor guy where the ghostfaces. Like I didnt get there motive. Okey Jessica had an abusive husband and Sidney helped her see it clearly and she killed him good for you but what I don't get is why she was going for Sidney after that. And that doctor guy why? Maybe I just didnt catch it but I mean it just didnt really fit. Through out the movie I really thought Stu was alive and I thought he was Jessica's husband and Lucas father and they were all in it together. (I did saw a spoiler before watching the movie so I knew Jessica was a ghostface) I liked seeing some old ghostfaces come back (Stu, Nancy, Roman) and some old characters ofcourse! (Dewey, Gale, Mindy, Chad) While the ghostfaces where extremely mid I did like however how when Tatum was in the café and got attack after trying to shoot ghostface in the head there was another ghostface outside. I didnt expect that so that's a plus point. Also really loved the little Easter eggs trough out the movie! So glad Sidney, Gale, Mindy and Chad are still alive. I was kinda scared for like the returning characters. I really hoped it would be a 5 star film but it's wasn't mainly because of the whole motive of the ghostfaces, which I find one of the most important things and really makes a movie. I gets a 4 star for me for the death scenes and the story line of Tatum indeed being strong like her mom.
