American Beauty

The emotional contrast between the depth of feelings that Kevin spacey has but also spread out between the other characters and then turning it into comedy before or after several scenes is super well done. The character depth in this is so wild. The shift of tone from him fantasizing about adultery with a high school girl to the whole last 20 minutes is something... Side note Kevin spacey role selection needs to be studied I couldn’t get over it the first half of the movie 😭
