The Northman

Objectively yeah it's a great movie but it just didn't connect with me as much as I'm sure it did others. That is just me though, it definitely is a great revenge plot, one of the better ones I've ever seen but was it necessary for everyone to take their shirts off every five seconds. Edit: whilst I was watching this I couldn't shake the feeling that I'd seen it before and now I know why, it's gladiator. The Northman is just gladiator with Vikings. The main characters family is murdered by a rival to the throne then works under them to get closer so they can have revenge even fighting for the villains entertainment before extracting revenge then bleeding out afterwards. To be clear I don't mean this as a bad thing I actually this it's better than gladiator but it surely can't be a coincidence.
