Us

I'm kinda divisive on this one. On one hand it's really well made with important messaging behind it but the way it choses to show that is different than alot of movies. Whilst most good movies have important symbolism to think about afterwards and deepen the plot but US' plot is told almost entirely through sometimes really vague symbolism. It still has a straightforward plot to tell the audience who couldn't care less about thinking about stuff like this but for the people who do it becomes really convoluted fast as there's so much of it. I held off on writing this because I really needed a day to just think about it all and I still don't really get all of it, like what's the rabbit mean is it an Alice in wonderland thing or is it something else, it's just alot. Alot of it I have gotten my head around and that stuff presents a very fascinating story that I would love to think about more. Overall just a divisive movie that I really need to think about more and maybe in a year or so I'll watch it again and either have really positive thoughts or really negative but for the most part I enjoyed it.
