David

This was really good. One of the best Christian films I've seen for sure. The animation was beautiful and Goliath felt like an actual monster with his twelve fingers and toes, on top of his already-terrifying face and enormous figure. The whole segment with him was perfect. David just casually humming while approaching a twenty-foot giant backed by a massive army made for one of the most legendary fight entrances in cinema. I would've liked to see more of David and Jonathan's friendship, but I liked the little we got of them. The film also could've used a stronger resolution with a proper wrap-up for Saul and Jonathan's characters and what their deaths meant for the future of Israel. Complete side note, but Jesse bears an uncanny resemblance to Lord Dingwall from Brave. Probably not intentional but that was all I could think of every time he appeared.
