A movie I had no expectations or thoughts going into as it came out a year ago I never got to it. The movies concept along with its pacing and sudden story shifts reeled me in. I loved Anya Taylor Joys performance as at times you could feel every emotion her character had just from her eyes alone. The acting portrayed by her and Ralph Fiennes main character were so brutal in their delivery of dialogue and the actions taking place at any moment throughout the film. Nicholas Hoult a man of many gifts portrays in this movie his astounding ability to act and be able to portray different personalities all while being one singular character. The love and care he had for what could’ve been a one dimensional bully character is why he is at the top of personal list of actors who deserve the praise no matter what picture he’s in. One of the most brutal yet beautiful movies I’ve seen in a long time. By the way never ask for bread at hawthorn
