John Wick

A solid action movie that didn’t blow me away but was an entertaining watch. The sense of dread I had as soon as that damn dog appeared on my screen was something else though, I knew it was coming but I wasn’t ready. The action was well done, but I had no worry that John was going to die at any point because he has to be in John wick 2, so I wasn’t on the edge of my seat.  The plot was a simple revenge plot with a couple of extra bells and whistles, but nothing extravagant. It worked for what it was but it doesn’t feel like a movie with franchise potential to be honest.
