Wonder Man

I don’t know why this show is on Letterboxd, but I just finished it and very very much enjoyed it, so I might as well drop a review. I had absolutely 0 expectations going into this, and by God was I surprised at how good it was.  If it wasn’t for the marvel branding I honestly would not have known it was a marvel project, with only a singular action scene in the entire show, and frankly it was better for it. I grew to adore Simon and Trevor throughout the show, with the stakes being so personal rather than world ending, the humour was great and every episode was packed with a shit Ton of heart. Not a single bad episode in the bunch. Overall, I was very pleasantly surprised by this show, and as someone going into the film industry, that only made me love it more. I cannot recommend this series enough, even if you’re not a marvel fan.
