This has to be the most cheesiest movie i have ever seen, but I'm not complaining. I kinda liked this? That late 90s/early 2000's feel of this movie is so insane. It's one of those movies that you just cannot make in 2026. Like even if somebody specifically set out to make something like this again, it can't be done. This feel can't be captured again. Something was in the air in those early 2000's when they made this and it's gone now lol. That's actually a big reason why I liked this. Other than that, Brittany murphy and Dakota fanning are both precious as hell in this. That teacup ride scene was fucking emotional. I wasn't planning on getting emotional from a movie like this at all but that got me. The plot is very cliche. There are a 1000 movies/shows that follow the same kinda trope but who cares. I still liked it lol. Still can't believe Britanny Murphy is not alive anymore. Why does that make me so fucking sad? I haven't even seen her in a lot of stuff but still, I can't explain it. Everytime I was seeing her in this, just smiling and dancing, I was already getting kinda emotional knowing that she isn't here anymore. She really would've loved to see the resurgence this movie has gotten on social media these days. RIP man.

Whew. What an underrated film. This is one of those movies that just doesn't waste a single second of it's time. From the moment it starts to the moment it ends, straight pedal to the metal. We don't even get to know the names of the character, all we know is what job they have to do. "The driver", "The detective", "The connection", "The player", etc. The vibe of this movie is immaculate. It's like Michael mann meets Wong kar wai or something like that lol. I fucking love old movies that used to capture dirty, wet, neon lit streets. There was something so magical about them. This straight up looks like it's from the same universe as "Thief" by Michael mann. I love it. Geniunely one of the most beautifully shot movies i have ever seen. The colour palette for this movie was so fucking aesthetic. Thanks to the remastering that they did. The blacks, the blues, the green's, it all looks sooo fucking gorgeous. Some of my all time favourite shots were just shots of well lit skyscrapers in the background of an insanely intense chase sequence lol. But yeah apart from the visuals, the plot is pretty straightforward. It's literally what Drive(2011) does but solely focused on "The job". No extra BS. And honestly I prefer this movie to that. I feel like this does almost everything better. The chase sequences are better, the action is better, the vibe is better, the cinematography is better, overall conclusion is better. There were I think three major chase sequences in this. And all were bangers, especially the final one. The dirty cop angle was also fun to watch. And overall just seeing the main character aura farm is the juice lol. One more thing that made this movie an absolute delight to watch was "Isabelle adjani". I quite literally haven't seen a woman look THIS drop-dead gorgeous in a longgggg time. Everytime she was on screen it was like eye candy lol. Her all black outfit with those smoky eyes were insaneeeee lmfao. So yeah, Add that to the list of things I like about this movie

"The further you run from your sins, the more exhausted you are when they catch up to you. And they do. Certain" My 3rd Spike Lee film after "Malcolm X" and "Do the right thing". This one was not quite at THAT level but it's still a great fucking movie. I love heist movies like this. I wanna see a successful heist. I wanna see them get away with it lol. I love it. Also i know this has been said again and again but Denzel curry is just too fucking good at this shit man. The way he moves around, the way he delivers dialogue, he is just so comfortable and effortless and cool. I could watch him for days. This movie was pretty much his story only. He has the most screentime and he absolutely commands every scene. Plotwise I loved it too. It was nothing crazy but still good enough to keep you hooked. The ending scene particularly was so good. Dalton just casually coming out of the bank and slipping a piece of diamond in frazier's pocket. He remembered when frazier said he is "too broke" for marriage lmao. I smiled at that lol. A Very satisfying ending. Definitely an Entertaining watch. One thing I didn't understand, Why is this called Inside Man again? Is it just because there is a man... Inside a bank? Lmao.

Wow what Impeccable vibes this movie has bro. I was looking forward to this movie because of both Anthony bourdain and Dominic sessa. After the masterpiece, The holdovers, I had a itch of watching him more in something and this movie scratched that itch so perfectly. This really felt like a breath of fresh air. Fresh beaches, ocean, good food, cozy little setting, good music and all around just good vibes. It's also shot so beautifully that it makes me wanna visit this cape cod place, just to hang around and have a little smoke lol. Also a big reason why I liked this movie was Antonio banderas. His mere presence in the whole movie was just so fucking good. I can't explain it in words but for me he MADE this movie. There was just something very human about his whole connection with Anthony's character and their whole journey. He really brought an emotional weight into the whole story. This movie could easily have been just about food and people screaming and anthony struggling and all that. But their relationship made it much more deeper and heartfelt. Which I really liked. Dominic sessa is special. And I'm so excited for all of his movies in the future. Forever seated.
