It was a privilege to see this great film in the cinema. It’s a great example of multiple masters of their work, working together to make something impossible for an individual to create, making this art piece something that transcends singular humanity.
Although I’ve always done my best to appreciate culture of any form, I’ve usually been more interested in practicality than culture or tradition. However, the atmosphere this film creates in that juke joint was something special. I’ve never or rarely wanted to be a part of a culture more.
