The Elephant Man

by far the most straightforward David Lynch film i’ve seen so far but also the most heartbreaking. i went into this film completely blind and the moment i saw that Anthony Hopkins was in this, i knew it was gonna be a masterpiece. both him and John Hurt give amazing emotional performances. this has got to be the most times i’ve cried while watching a film.
