Nostalgia

This film defines me in almost every way. Nostalgia is something every single human has and has been stuck with us for so so so long, and yet we experience different things, moments, situations, we all get the same feeling. I have some kind of connection to Andrei, where I feel serious, philosophical, homesick, even after years, although he has lost his loved ones, I lost the feeling of happiness towards the internet. Back then although the internet was still ruthless, it wasn't a thing that took over life just yet, I remember the youtubers I watched, the posts Ive seen, the games I've played, and yet I still do those things it just doesnt hit the same anymore. And when you comeback to a place after a long time everything changes but you can still see the crumbs from back then that are left over. People say nostalgia is a horrible feeling that reminds us we cant go back, but for me its the only form of time travel we have to experience the things we have done. The ending where the text states that its for his mother made me realize instantly why he made this film. Favorite movies dont mean that they're the best of all time, favorite movies are the movies that are meaningful, stick with us after years, and most importantly define us.
