Stalker

A film about the questioning of our faith and existence, the Zone is a metaphor for religion and Stalker is more of a priest that tours people into said religion, but the more he leads the men into the Zone the less they beleive. Our world is a yellow, dusty and rusty world while the Zone (religion) is very beautiful, colorful. But since no one believes theyd rather be stuck in the real world, hense why the real world is all dirty and the Zone is abandoned yet beautiful. The cinematography helps us understand each characters actions and their reaction to the environment. People may find the scenes too long and boring but I think its to better show off the scenery and kind of simulate that we're there with the characters. Its not about the destination, its about the patience and the journey. To test the patience of the characters like our patience to watch this film.
