The Lighthouse

Where do I even begin Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinsons performance in this is PHENOMENAL, the use of one location has to have creative performances and cinematography, the 1:1 aspect ratio automatically makes this film claustrophobic, and black and white to make it feel old timey and yet dark and gritty. This is loneliness, schizophrenia, delusion, strong sexual desire, craziness, panic and confusion all in one film. I love it when the use of 2 - 3 actors can still make an amazing film with just the use of an amazing script. And the cinematography helps with this, the close ups to see how crazy they can become and the far shots of the lighthouse make me feel unnerved. I dont even know if its all just what loneliness did to them, make them delusional, insane, or if its the eerie, unnerving lighthouse that makes them like that. Could be both. Me and bro if we were lighthouse keepers 💀
