Beautiful Boy

God this was a hard watch at times in the best and worst possible way. I dont think ive seen addiction and self destructive behavior handled like this in a film ever and its gruesome to watch when you have seen it or lived it firsthand. From the relapses, the bursts of anger and depression and the cries for help from an ever growing hole inside you, its harsh. Both Steve and Timothee do a horrifyingly good job at showing this and it made me absolutely love the movie just as much as it made me depressed. It also convinced me that Timothee Chalamet is a generational actor and ill die on that hill
