Ran

Wow. Like watching a painting unfold, it left me stunned and speechless. How does one even begin to shoot this? This is my first Kurosawa film and what I'm seeing is a true visionary and a master of his craft. Where do I even begin with this film, the cinematography? The pretty colours? The costume design? The acting? The writing? The set design? The stunning visuals? Everything was incredibly well thought out and translated beautifully onto the big screen. Just a beyond gorgeous piece of art, the type of movie that shows you what makes movies special in the first place. A triumphant epic that leaves you enthralled till the very end
