Sentimental Value

grief isn’t limited to people, it also lingers in places we used to love. our surrounding watch us unfold as we live, with a quite yet overflowing emotions carved into its walls. a single space can hold so much memory, it can evoke feelings we’ve long buried or don’t know where to place but we kept holding on to.  grief is silent, it doesn’t show itself visibly. it’s not just something we carry, it is also carried by the places we used to reside.
