Lake Mungo

Lake Mungo is so goddamn devastating and real and heartbreaking. The acting and the atmosphere and the way the writing builds up to like what, 5 incredible plot twists (?), is so phenomenal. At its core, Lake Mungo is an terrifying exploration of grief and loss and it's honestly SO FUCKING SAD. I genuinly used to dismiss those stupid reality tv shows, where they interview people who think their houses are being haunted by a dead family member. Now I feel more empathy for them than ever. This movie is going to stick with me. The writing and acting are brilliant. The atmosphere is brilliant. The jumpscare is brilliant. Watch this please
