The Black Tower

The Black Tower presents a combination of Lovecraftian cosmic horror and Poesque narration which is not only terrifying, tense and mysterious but also decades ahead of its time, displaying horror concepts ranging from the deadly curiosity of House of Leaves to the quiet and abrupt Skinamarink and modern internet horror style editing. It stands at the midway point between the old and the new and it's definitely a masterful exercise in cosmic horror storytelling
