There is so much I could say about this film. From the camerawork to the dialogue and the fantastic screenplay there is something for everyone here. The suspense is constant and even on rewatch I can feel my heart rate elevated. Gosh Fincher I need more films like this please. John Doe had a message to give and you can almost agree with him but definitely not his ways of telling that message. This world is messed up and it’s not the mentality ill but it’s humanity as a whole. We let the sins of people be normalized and nothing is ever done about it. The bar scene with Mike and Summerset is so good at explained both sides of reality and how people view the world. I think they were both right in their own way but ultimately in the end it was proven that an everyday person could commit the same sins.
