Pi

“when i was a little kid, my mother told me not to stare into the sun. so once when i was six, i did.” This movie is so bizarre and mind boggling that it’s such a masterpiece that easily deserves a 5 star rating. The way max sees all of these patterns in human nature and how he believes the golden ratio is all in nature is so fascinating to watch. him going crazy about the 216 digit number is very creepy but also very interesting to watch. it shows that max is essentially enslaved by his obsession with finding the mathematical equation to the pattern of the universe. the ending is also very creepy but in a way kinda, “soothing”.  overrall, this movie is fucking great and everything about this movie is amazing. i’m so glad i watched this movie and i was so entertained and thrilled watching the whole thing.
