How could I ever be so mistaken? Unfortunately, I watched this for the first time, at the wrong time. Now, I realise the beauty of RAN. This is ANOTHER masterpiece by Kurosawa. The shots are amazing, and the characters have incredible emotional depth between each other.  At the 59 minute mark in this, we witness one of the most incredible scenes in movie history. I mean, words cannot express the art in it. There are no sounds from the actual scene, but we hear an elegant and powerful score, which is perfectly balanced with what we see om the screen; a combination of blood and brutality, beautiful scenery, and great action.  Please watch if you haven’t already.
