Juno
Juno may be the best coming-of-age film ive ever experienced?
What made this adventure of me watching this movie exciting was the fact that this was my first Elliot Page film. Having been completely clueless to how well he performs or not, i was very lively to figure out the answer - and wow. Everything about the way he is in this had me inseprable from the screen. The way in which he delivers his dialogue, and that little pregnant shuffle is just mwah, cinema if you mst.
Michael Cera. Mr MICHAEL CERA. little bit suprised how hes one of the two characters featured on the poster, and the second name on the credits? considering how he didnt really get that screentime, but hey-ho. He never dissapoints when playing a teenager, i just see his face and immediately know i will not be dissapointed. He has truly made a great reputation for himself.
Thirdly, i would like to mention Jason Bateman in this film. I think he does so well in his character, and i think his facial expressions earlier in the first act foreshadow his change in preparation in fatherhood.
In shorter points i would like to mention (positively): Jennifer Garner - i honestly cried at her in the end JK Simmons - doesnt dissapoint, carries on being the goat Allison Janey - step mum of dreams Pacing
In conclusion, Jason Reitmans "Juno" released in 2007 is a brilliantly put together coming-of-age film thats a beautiful blend of all emotions.
