Thanks for your time and you can thank me for mine, and after that's said forget it (Bag it man)

The film where Robert De Niro and Harvey Kietel first really made their mark. Scorcese made a good call putting most the budget towards the soundtrack which really helps, he must be the Rolling Stones number 1 fan on spotify, the film of course feels fairly clunky and there's not a really dramatic plot but this is made up for by Harvey Kietel & Robert De Niro's performance and scenes like the fight in the basement where De Niro smashes pool sticks off some assholes head to the background of Please Mr Postman, or when the car crashes into the fire hydrant at the end with some Italian music going on. This also definitely helped pave the way for different films this genre of day to day mob stories on the streets and of course the collaboration between De Niro & Scorcese.

Can't help but be a masterpiece when you've got Al Pacino, Johnny Depp, Micheal Madsen, & a lion, *forget about it*
