Whiplash

Nobody goes into Whiplash expecting an action movie but upon leaving the theater, couch, etc, everyone collectively experienced their ass cheeks being stuck clenched to their respective sitting object. The fucking tempo of this movie is insane. The fast cut editing and directness mixed with the intensity of the legend J.K. Simmons (Objectively the best publicly known J.K) is phenomenal. I could go on and on about the acting forever but what really ties it all together for me is the way it all feels so fast. This whole movie felt like a car chase for me and I loved every goddamn minute.
