man, boogie nights is fucking radical. Every moment of this film had me entranced -- for a 2 & a half hour long film, that's hard to do. Marky-Mark actually gives a great performance (as opposed to whatever he's doing now). I don't even know what to say, everything about it is completely magnificent. I was expecting more gay stuff, for it to fully unravel for Dirk, in an almost Requiem For A Dream way. I can't tell if that ending is happy or completely bleak, they're right back at square one. They found each-other, but how long can that truly last? Who knows. Excellent. Freudian.
