Mickey 17

This is my first bong joon ho film and it was very well done. For starters robert pattinson and mark ruffalo put in all-time performances in this movie especially pattinson who masterfully pulls off playing 2 versions of the same character. The political commentary is also evident and masterfully done Marshall and his supporters are an almost perfect metaphor for current politics, especially that of the united states. However i did find it falling into many cheesy sci fi tropes but is saved from the great writing, especially of mickey 18 and the acting. Mickey 17 and 18 were written so well with 17 repressing (for the most part) his feelings about the expendables program where 18 is unfiltered and filled with anger and hatred for the program that created him
