Moonlight

Moonlight is honestly surreal. Every frame could be hung in a museum and the acting was beautiful. Moonlight is so circular in the sense that not only does chiron end up becoming juan from chapter one but kevin breaks chiron down into himself from chapter 2. I struggle to take something profound away from this film but i still feel like it is incredibly important and interesting. The cut off of the chapters is something i didnt totally understand but maybe i will with a second watch. The main thing for me is it feels like it was made with an oscar in mind which isnt necessarily good but imo prevents it from being amazing.
