Nightcrawler

Damn this was good. I knew Jake Gyllenhaal could act but I wasn't sure this type of role would fit him. And boy did he delivered. Reminded me a lot of Network for obvious reasons, which is one of my all time favourites, and arguably you can find similarities with American Psycho's Patrick Bateman in Louis Bloom, but the approach is completely opposite. The plot is engaging and really well paced, and I even found myself rooting for Lou at some points. Then of course I thought twice and man fuck this sociopath! Poor Rich deserved better.
