My only complaint abt this film is most of the jump scares don’t really get you, it did amazing at creating tension and suspense in the scenes and I understand why it has the highest average heart rate out of all films it just really didn’t do it for me.I really enjoyed Ethan Hawkes acting and his slow spiral into insanity and the wife’s acting but even the last jump scare I was mid stretch+yawn and not expecting anything else yet it still didn’t slightly startle me.Also the story was great as well so no complaints other than cheap scares. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TAKE THAT MUSTY ASS CARDIGAN OFF

“Believe me it’s me” how convincing to your ex when you’re a pile of bones and saggy flesh The lengths this woman will go to for some good sex is wild then to get her life sucked out of her by the man she did it for is poetic.I think I only started to really enjoy this film after the first hour because we got to see more of the amazing costume designs of the cenobites and the face swap+ end sequence. I find the boyfriends acting in the last fight scene laughable;this man does not look scared for his life he’s smiling it’s fucking horrendous.Setting it up for a sequel or the possibility for one was great I just love horror franchises.Overall, this would have been a 9/10 if the whole film was as much engaging at the last 30 mins but I do understand they had to build up to that conclusion so in no way was it bad.
