La Haine
I’ve seen La Haine three times now and it still hits exactly the same. It’s such an ugly, broken world, but the film itself feels weirdly beautiful the entire time. Every shot, every conversation, every little moment pulls you in completely. You never want to look away. The fact that Kassovitz could make something this raw feel so alive and unforgettable is honestly kind of insane. A perfect film to me.
