A mobster rise-to-power storyline that is fresh, well developed and keeps surprising you with the path it takes, both in plot and character development, until the very end. The flashbacks are perfectly placed. The series' quality ensures that it makes good use of Gotham as a setting without having to depend on it. Farrell and Milioti are just incredible Only issue was the Sal Vulcano-lookalike doctor, who felt incongruous with respect to the rest of the show
