Lost Highway
Edit: I will give this half a star more for each time I watched a lynch movie worse than this.
It started at an honest 4/5

Bowling and a Pornography kingpin? Close enough: welcome back 'the big lebowski'
Wtf did I just watch??
It's so creative and so well filmed but it's also so random and the most incoherent "story" I have ever witnessed. Also at times too slowly paced. Music is well placed and just slaps.
Robert Blake gives me the fucking creeeepsss, especially with that makeup.
As much as I would have loved a story that made sense, I am glad they didn't half ass it. Very early on there was no going back so they never really explained anything and made it a time loop. Go crazy.
There are so many scenes that I will hopefully remember for a long time.
- That intro and reoccurring low shot of the stret with the yellow lines
- the second and third time they watch the tape that came in the mail. This gave me a feeling that blairwitch project could have had but didn't imo
- the first appearance of Robert Blake at that party with that phone call. Such crazy work
- that plot twist turning point of Pete sitting in that prison cell
- that scene where Pete witnesses David Laurent nearly killing a guy for tailgating lol
- ah just put every Roberto Blake scene here. Every one is just great.
- those scenes at the cabin. Pure cinema. Sex in the car headlight was portrayed so crazy. The interior of the cabin was straight from a horror movie. Very funny how he just got a knife straight handed to him just before slashing Laurent's throat.
Since this is my 2nd lynch movie, I must compare those two.
This has no rape scene or any other as disgusting scenes as blue velvet had so that's a plus.
I also would say the acting had more gravitas and was more powerful. It overall has more potence visually.
But of course this has so much lacking in story. It's great seeing beautiful and incredibly unconventional scenes, but there was nothing that gave this structure really
